Main religions:

Large parts of East Asia are officially atheist, but traditional religions such as Buddhism and Taoism are also widespread.Christianity has been growing in this region at an amazing rate and estimates of the numbers of Christians in the region range from 50 million to 100 million.  There is a significant number of Muslims in the region, particularly in the north-west.
