The organisation is working to create an inclusive environment for the most marginalised in the country. It brings hope through resourcing empowerment and advocacy in the least served areas of the country and works in inclusive education and community development.
Working alongside the disability staff the candidate will develop and implement the organisations disability strategy. The role is to support and train national staff who are implementing best practice in the education of visually- and hearing-impaired people and those with other disabilities and working to create inclusive communities. A minimum of two years commitment is required and ideally three or more. Input from an experienced person based out of country might be considered.
The ideal candidate needs experience in working in the field of disability education if possible in inclusive education. They will have the ability to train coach and mentor staff and will be willing to learn a local language.
